History / 1974 – 2024

The Salopian Golf Society was founded in 1974 and has continued to run without a break for the last 50 years. During that time it has located itself in a number of local pubs (there could be a theme) and has enjoyed welcoming 148 members.

Some of those have unfortunately passed away but they will always be remembered and if they "got the frog" their names will be there to see on what must be the biggest losers trophy in world sport.
