The remainder of the 2022 season proved to be a huge success.
Fantastic courses coupled with a great summer of warm weather paired up for some really enjoyable events for the members and the society went on its first breakaway abroad held in La Cala, Spain.

September - La Cala (Breakaway) - Winner Gary Griffiths, Runner Up Dave Giove & Frog Bob Cliffe
October - The Astbury (Baynham Bowl) - Winner Simon Lock, Runner Up Tudor Owen & Frog Gary Griffiths
November - Oswestry (Turkey Trot) - Winner Dave Sullivan, Runner Up Tom Bennett & Frog Alex Nichols
Well done to Tom Bennett & Gary Griffiths who take the joint Victor Crown for the season.
A huge thanks to all commitee members and to Captain Colin Robinson. Delwyn Humphreys takes on the captaincy for 2023 which will be SGS's 50th Anniversary Year.
Delwyn has nominated Dave Owens as his Vice Captain for the season.
