The September event of the SGS season, the Presidents Cup, was held at Barlaston Golf Club.
A relatively short course at just 5593 yards off yellow tees but requiring good course management with a challenging layout and lots of water to consider with the course running alongside the River Trent.
The win on the day goes to Tom Bennett with 37 points despite managing to put no fewer than 3 balls in the lake on the 9th & and a cracking knock by Dave Giove sees him runner up with 35 points. Unfortunately, Elliot Evans took home the frog trophy.
The next event to look forward to will be at Oswestry Golf Club on Friday 8th October.
